I do not recommend this dealership or Chevy in general. The vehicles don’t last, and the customer service and communication have been extremely disappointing. Our family has purchased several vehicles from Courtesy Chevrolet over the years, but our recent experiences have completely changed our opinion. Four years ago, we purchased a brand-new Chevy truck for approximately $60,000. About a month ago, the transmission failed. The dealership had the truck for months while we continued making payments on a vehicle we couldn’t drive. They eventually replaced the transmission with a refurbished unit, but it failed again in less than 30 days. When the transmission first failed, the dealership offered us approximately $27,000 as a trade-in value. At that time, we didn’t want to start over with another vehicle payment, so we chose to repair the truck instead. Now, less than 30 days later, after the replacement transmission also failed, we decided to trade it in and were only offered $24,000. We worked with a salesman named Dave and a manager named Richard. We found a truck online that interested us and, because it was a workday, wanted to begin the process first thing in the morning, started working a deal at 8am so we could finalize everything after work. We spent the entire day communicating with them—completing a credit application, reviewing numbers, making phone calls, and exchanging text messages. When we arrived at the dealership around 5:00 PM, we were informed that the truck we had been working on all day was no longer available because it had been sold in a dealer trade. We were told we would need to find another vehicle and start the process over from scratch. This was incredibly frustrating after investing an entire day in the deal. We test-drove two other trucks and spent hours negotiating numbers. Around 7:00 PM, we finally reached an agreement and were told there were two customers ahead of us waiting to sign paperwork. We specifically asked our salesman if the truck would be detailed, fueled, and ready to go when we finished signing. He assured us it would be. At approximately 9:45 PM, we were called back to complete the paperwork. We again asked if the truck could be brought around so we could leave immediately after signing. That’s when we were informed that we would not be taking the truck home because it still needed a safety inspection. We remained at the dealership until nearly 10:45 PM, signed paperwork financing another $61,000 truck, and still left without the vehicle we had purchased. This wasn’t our first major issue, either. Two years ago, we purchased a brand-new Chevy Trax. After only 11 months, the engine failed and had to be completely replaced. Once again, we were without our vehicle for months while continuing to make payments. Based on our experiences with repeated major mechanical failures, extended repair times, poor communication, and a frustrating sales process, we can no longer recommend Courtesy Chevrolet or Chevy vehicles.

Sold me a vehicle with a failing A/C system and on top of that this dealer is dragging their feet on refunding my money from a cancelled extended warranty and a cancelled maintenance plan. The money should have been paid to my lender by May 18th and here we are, almost a month later and nothing. They love to act oblivious when contacted and confronted about this. Would have recommended this place until these two incidents, what a shame.

05/20/2026 This is a follow-up to my Courtesy Chevrolet Service Center Review dated 05/07/2026 beginning with "To whom it may concern". On May 12, 2026 I received an email from Mr. Chad McDonald, Service Director for Courtesy Chevrolet. In this email Mr. McDonald advised me that after reading my review and identifying some important information that I had provided, he believed it would be beneficial to take a closer look at the timelines to better understand how their decision had been reached. He asked if I would be open to him reviewing the matter and working towards a mutually agreeable resolution. He also apologized for the frustration that this situation had caused. In addition, he asked if the service work was still outstanding or had already been completed. Later that afternoon, I called Mr. McDonald's phone and left a message that I was open to discussing the issue further with him and left him my Cell phone number so he could return my call. I also advised him that the Service had been completed by Autonation and that I had paid for the service. On May 12th, Chad called my cell phone where we had a good long conversation. He asked me to again go over the details as to what had transpired. I again provided Mr. McDonald a step by step detailed explanation of my interaction with Courtesy Chevrolet's Representatives and to why I believed that I had been mistreated. I told him I felt my only recourse was in sharing the facts of my service experience with others who could make their own determination as to the validity of my customer service dissatisfaction. After listening to my explanation, Chad indicated that he believed their Original Service Advisor may not have handled a number of things appropriately as to Courtesy's protocols and that they had had several missed opportunities to correct it. He said that he wanted to make things right and win me back over as a Courtesy Chevrolet customer. He said that he was going to contact Autonation to get a copy of my service cost with them. He said he would have a check issued back to me to cover my entire cost. Chad also asked me if they had changed the external filter in my transmission. I told him they had not. He said this service work should be done right a way to protect the vehicle's longevity. He said he wanted to schedule this work for me to be completed right a way, and it would be no charge. Lastly, he said that my next oil change would be completed by them also at no charge to make up for the frustration incurred. I told Chad that while I appreciated him going beyond my expectations to make things right, I would be perfectly happy with him just refunding the cost of my first oil change as had been expected. He told me that he believed it was important for them to go beyond expectations to make up for their missed opportunities and to win me back as a customer for life. On Wednesday, May 20th, I took my Corvette Z06 back to Courtesy Chevrolet for replacement of the external transmission filter and transmission fluid top off. Chad McDonald and his Service Advisor immediately came out to greet me. I was treated completely professional and respectful, and the work was finished ahead of their indicated time frame. Chad also reminded me that he had set up my next oil change for no charge. I asked Chad if there was a maximum time for completion of this next oil change. He said there was not. As things turned out, Chad McDonald has renewed my confidence in Courtesy Chevrolet as a tenured Arizona dealership, and has made big strides in winning me back as a lifetime customer.

I was amazed on how fast my service was done only took about an hour and my vehicle was ready to go.

Hi. Hope that’s not the case….I scheduled an appointment again for 5/29 to get fixed and at this point please just ORDER A NEW TIRE. It’s in my warranty and I full cover gate package on oil, tire and etc. It’s my wife’s truck for 2/14 gift, so hopefully they care enough to want the WOMAN to be safe like they would want there wife or girlfriend.

To whom it may concern, I would like to share my experience trying to get service completed on my 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. On these cars, General Motors offers the first oil change free of charge. In early June 2024, I scheduled my first service on my car with Courtesy Chevrolet. Even though this was not the closest GM dealership to me, I knew they were one of the most tenured dealerships in the Phoenix metro area. This assessment led me to believe that they should be one of the most experienced and best. My appointment was scheduled for June 10th 2024.Shortly after dropping the vehicle off, the Service Writer (David) came into the waiting area and advised me that even though my vehicle dash was indicating that it was time for an oil change (approx. 800 to 900 miles)there were not enough miles on the car to complete the no charge service. He assured me that I could bring the vehicle back for the free service when I had more miles on the vehicle. I told David that after driving 30 miles downtown to have the oil change done, I wanted it done even if I had to pay for the service. After this, he confessed that they could not complete the service because they did not have the oil filter in stock. I asked David, why did they schedule my vehicle for an oil change when they didn't even have what they needed to complete the work? He said he was sorry but again he assured me that I could bring the vehicle back at a later date for the complimentary service. He never advised me of a deadline date on the service and I never thought anything of it because I had initially brought the vehicle in plenty early to have it completed. Since I drive the vehicle very little, I did not return to have the oil changed until early May 2026 (1400 total miles). Again the car's dash was indicating that it was time for an oil change again. Instead of taking the vehicle so far to a dealership that I really no longer trusted, I called Auto Nation on Bell Road. After some discussion over the phone, they advised me that the first oil change would be free. When I arrived, the Service Writer told me that the oil change would no longer be handled free of charge because I had waited too long to bring it in. I explained to him what had happened with Courtesy and that I had taken the car in early enough and they didn't have what was needed to accomplish the work. I also told him I had not been advised of a deadline. He said I would need to take my concern up with Courtesy Chevrolet. I understood that AutoNation had no fault in this, they were just following protocol. When I got home, I spent much time calling, texting, and talking with representatives of Courtesy Chevrolet. I carefully explained exactly what had happened and why I believed they still owed me a complementary service. On May 7, 2026 I received a call back from Courtesy's Customer Care Rep. advising me that she had spoken to their Service Manager and that they were not going to cover the cost of anything, take it up with General Motors. The cost of the service was not so much of an issue to me as the fact that I believed they should have stepped up for the errors they had made and make it right. That's what quality customer service would look like to me. Considering that Courtesy Chevrolet currently only have a 2.5 out of 5 star customer service rating, I'm sure my low rating/evaluation has no real effect on their customer base or lack there of, but I still believed it worth my time to help others make quality decisions based on others experiences, and possibly avoid the frustration that I have incurred dealing with this company.

Had a horrible experience my first visit to service center. My experience with Finanace was terrific and did everything it took to get the job done and that’s who I would want on my team every time. My second visit to service center was ok, I booked a service in april and 3 days later it was deleted and after I complained on a review “the appointment came back lol” but anyway my experience when I arrived was decent and feel Victor was decent as well and didn’t have an attitude at all. For what they had to do “service center wasn’t that long either” oil change and filter was done and tire rotation and etc. One thing I don’t like is the “acting like they so busy feel” from victor, rushing the customer feeling. It’s kinda like you don’t want to ask them a question because they acting like they heading to brain surgery but all customers in that case is there to get brain surgery if you get my drift. The lady manager of finance was so nice to my wife and always says how pretty she dresses and then I saw her offer a guys daughter a snack while they waited to finish their dads deal, these are great signs of leadership and understanding the building is standing because customers come in. I will be back soon for air filter change because it smells like old mildew, so I will review that experience throughly. Overall people coming and going who work there - they speak and seem cool.

Roberto was the reason I bought my 2023 Camaro He is so knowledgeable and so easy to talk with. He put us at ease and helped me purchase my Camaro. I cannot say enough good things about his professionalism. On the service side Zach was so great! I brought my Camaro in for regular servicing and he took care of it. I felt very accommodated and factory diagnostics, as well as maintenance was done so quickly. Then next week I took my convertible top down and when I went to close it again, the top latch on the driver’s side didn’t latch correctly and so there was a huge gap and didn’t close flush with the car surface. I was upset and I called Zach and said I hardly ever take the top down and now it won’t close properly. I told him I thought it must’ve happened when I was in for servicing the week before. He was professional and said it wouldn’t have been during the service but he would have it checked. He arranged transportation home and back to the dealership for me and he had it fixed same day! So I went from being upset to being a happy camper! Since my husband passed, I have relied on Courtesy Chevrolet for helping me with my vehicles. We have bought a couple of Chevys through the years and I appreciate Courtesy training their service associates and hiring really knowledgeable and helpful people with extensive experience with vehicle service. Terrible place to buy a car! My wife and I wanted a 2025 suburban. I called and the sales person asked me to come in today to see it because they had 5 appointments on Saturday to see the car. We went in and asked for the sales associate and after waiting a few minutes another sales associate came to show us the car. We walked over to where he thought it was and we couldn’t find it. He looked up the stock number and said it was there come to find out the CFO of the dealership is driving it around as a “demo” where he drives it around to put miles on it for some unknown reason and it would be back in 4 days! How do you have 5 appointments to see it if it is not even there? The sales associate said he does that sometimes and doesn’t tell them. So they have cars listed on the website that may or may not be there. I told them how unprofessional it was wasting my time and what a jerk the CFO is. I won’t be back ever!

Absolutely do not purchase a vehicle from this place. They literally sent the WRONG loan information for my down payment on my vehicle and didn’t even bother to notify me. They were trying to pocket money and thought it would go unnoticed but this is an extreme violation through FTC and CFPB which I will be notifying. This place is extremely sketchy and they didn’t even offer to make it right. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company or dealership.

I want to share my experience with Courtesy Chevrolet Dealership. On 1/24/2026, I was there and saw my Chevy Suburban 2024, and we agreed to go back on Monday 1/26/2026. While I was doing a test drive I saw that the brakes were not in good shape(43%). The front brake pads and rotor were in bad shape and my salesperson, Jackson Baldree, said that before the delivery, they will do the final inspection for this vehicle. When I went to pick up my car on Monday, I saw that they did not in fact fix my brakes, just made adjustments so I could not see their condition on my dashboard. After 2.5k mi, I started having issues with my left side brakes, and so I went back to the dealer on Tuesday 2/17/2026. We even had an agreement to get a second key for the car and replace the brakes, since the value of my car is almost 60k. They said that this wasn't part of the agreement, and I mentioned that Jackson said that they would do everything I asked for when I made the first oil change. Jackson was out that day. They did not perform any kind of inspection on my brakes that day. I went back that Thursday 2/19/2026, and I met with Jackson. He confirmed everything that was part of the agreement, but as soon as he went and checked with his team, he came and told me that based on the inspection that was made on Tuesday, the brakes were in good condition. They then added that they could not provide me with a second key because the past owner did not give them 2 keys. I sent my car to Firestone to get my brakes checked, and they said that they are in very bad conditions. I will attach the report with pictures. I told them that I would not bring my car in for any service anymore, despite having paid a package for ceramic coating, 3 oil changes, etc. because I do not trust their services anymore. Since apparently they can change the status of my car on my dashboard, when my car is in horrible condition. I will attach the condition of my brakes and the report from Firestone. Was coming back from North Scottsdale the other day and on my way back I thought l'lI stop by this Chevy dealer and look at their fleet of Tahoe's and Pickups. Upon arriving to the dealer I immediately proceeded to walk into the offices hoping to get the prices of the Tahoe's/pickups and of course dressing very casually to a point they assumed I don't have the money to afford any of the cars on their lot. Which is understandable and it's basically the main idea how I liked it to not be notice. I was sitting inside the dealers waiting area for a good ten minutes without getting any customer assistance. I do see plenty of sales rep looking at me but didn't cared to asked if I needed any helped. I'm not offended by it since that's the idea of what I liked to be as. I've approached the sales team and he introduced me to a sales rep in which he was professional at his job giving me pretty much all the details of the costs of each kind of Chevy Tahoe's/chevy pickups and the price of the trucks after taxes and fees. Had a decent time getting the feel for these new pickups.

My vehicle was not returned to me clean. Also very poor communication between the staff.

I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2015 Silverado from Courtesy Chevrolet in 2016. In 2025, while preparing to trade it in, a Carfax pulled by another dealer revealed the truck had been in a pretty serious accident affecting both the front and rear of the vehicle, with an airbag deployment in early 2016 — months before my purchase. This was never disclosed by Courtesy at the time of sale. Airbag deployment is a major safety issue and should have disqualified it from being sold as a CPO vehicle. When I brought this to their attention, Courtesy admitted the truck should not have been certified and acknowledged that a disclosure should have been signed at the time of sale. Despite this, they offered me less than a reasonable amount to resolve the issue — not taking into account the financial harm I endured over 8 years of ownership, including the vehicle’s diminished value. I’m sharing this to warn others: do not rely solely on the CPO label — always pull your own Carfax and inspect everything before buying. I trusted the CPO process and paid a premium for it — and ended up with a vehicle that never should’ve qualified as certified.

It wasn't the best. Too much back and forth to get to a fair price. Once we arrived, we let Brandon know we were on a tight timeframe, as we had a two-hour drive there and a two-hour drive back. He assured us they were moving as quickly as they could, but there were no other customers, and the employees just stood around and talked instead of working. When it was finally time for us to go to finance, the apparent manager, Jordon just stood in the way of the office door to finance, talking to someone, and did not even have the common courtesy to move out of the way for customers. Once we finally cleared finance we ended up waiting and waiting for Brandon to bring the truck up from getting detailed. At this point he had already had two hours to get the truck detailed but we still had to have the girl call him twice to bring us the truck. She by the way handed us the keys and manual to a Silverado when we purchased a Colorado. When Brandon finally showed up, he had a girl riding in the passenger seat which was not okay. At this point the truck was purchased and she had no need to be riding up in the truck. Needless to say the truck wasn't detailed, not even washed and the temporary plate wasn't even on. Not a great experience overall and they kept bribing us with an Amazon gift card to leave a good review.
